Lauren Cunningham, FNP-C

• Experience

  Lauren Cunningham is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She most recently practiced in primary care serving children, teens, and adults and helping her patients manage/treat a multitude of acute and chronic conditions. Her prior nursing experience includes both inpatient and outpatient experience in hospice, oncology and medical/surgery.
  Lauren strives to make every patient encounter one where the patient and family feel like their concerns are truly being heard and addressed with kindness, compassion and understanding.

• Education | Professional Career

  Lauren started her career in nursing by completing her associate degree at Cabarrus College of Health Science in 2007. After several years, Lauren’s passion for the nursing profession and love of patient care lead her to pursue higher level nursing degrees including a second undergraduate nursing degree from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and then her completion of her masters degree through South University in Savannah, GA.

• Personal Life

  Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, 2 children and dog. She loves spending time outdoors including hiking, four wheeling, and kayaking.
